1. Index Finger in middle of the ball
Starting with the index finger in middle of the ball, and lined up with rim assures a proper line to the target.
2. Ball Releases off index and middle fingers
The Middle finger adds balance to the index finger and more of a flat surface for backspin.
3. Split Fingers
rather than the instability of a one-finger release, the split fingers between index and middle finger create a more stable release of the ball.
4. Point Fingers down and out for ARC
When your fingers end up pointing towards the rim on release, you are not getting full range of motion through your wrist flick. When flicking wrist, make sure index and middle fingers are pointing down to ground. This creates lift, backspin and touch upon release of the ball.
