Start with the plays or actions your coach runs
It's good to know your coaches motion offense, so you can visualize the typeshots that will be taken in a game. Looking up Youtube videos on "how to break your defenders ankles" will not help with this. Use the actions you have learned in coaches' practice to determine what you work on. Use game speed on How you practice.
Motivation comes from within
It's important that you figure out what motivates you to put in work. Is it aspirations to play at a higher level and be great? Is it just to participate in the sport? Or is it just to be average? If it's to participate or be average that’s ok, but expect average results. If it's to be great, then be a sponge for information. New information will keep you motivated!
